In my opinion, it's not easy to find a good babysitter anywhere- but a lot of recreation departments offer courses for kids on babysitting skills. It may be possible to get referrals that way. I also know people who've found sitter through their local churches. Sites like sittercity.com may yield something, but they are expensive.
