Hi Jane!

From a sales perspective, we are seeing a steady increase in the median sales price for residential houses. In Warragul, the median sales price in August 2019 was at $451,250, compared to a median sales price of $415,000 in August 2018 and $340,000 in August 2017. This median house price is sitting above the median sales price for the Baw Baw region at $430,000 (August 2019).

Data suggests that 62.2% of buyers are residents moving in from other suburbs to Warragul, and within Warragul 76% of residents are owner occupiers, with 24% being renters.

In summary, it is fair to say Warragul and surrounds are booming and its no secret why. Located just over an hour for commuters from Melbourne CBD, coupled with the country-charm and connection to a community that provides all modern-day necessities.
