Not if you have a car Pete. If you need to catch public transport, then you might feel a little isolated.

We are in Galtymore Close, so we are a 15-20 min walk to the bus stop at Warranwood primary school & then about a 15-20 min bus trip to Ringwood. Of course if you're near a bus stop it won't take as long. We drive everywhere & we love living in Warranwood. For us, it's only 2-5mins drive to great schools, including 3 renowned private schools. It's a 10 min drive to Ringwood/Eastlink & only a 5 min drive to pick up most necessities at 3 shopping centres, Burnt Bridge Ringwood East, North Ringwood shops or McAdam Sq Croydon Hills. Here you'll find Coles, IGA's, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, PO, banks, chemists, butchers, bakeries, pet shop, health food shop, video shops, even a gym, travel agents & an organic fruit shop! Also only 5 minutes away is the Croydon Hotel and a fantastic park for the kids with bike tracks at McAlpin reserve Ringwood North and yet when we're at home we love the serenity, treed views & how safe we feel. So no, we don't feel isolated at all.

And I forgot to say that there are also several wineries only 5 mins drive away, (some with restaurants, wedding venues etc.), as we are in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
