One of the very best things apart from living in Normanhurst is the fact that it is right at the Sydney end of the F3, and so makes getting out of town going north a breeze! And if the F3 is congested access to the Pacific Highway is possible through Hornsby. Whenever we are arranging to meet up with friends and family who live further up the coast, everyone else who lives in Sydney has to add travelling time to Wahroonga before they even get out of town! We love it!
In addition, although we are slashed in two by the six lanes of Pennant Hills Road, each side of the suburb is fantastic bushland - complete with waterfalls after good rain. You can forget you are living in a big city and feel almost surrounded by beautiful Australian native forest.
