"Prison Swimming Pool open to local residents?"

Wooroloo is located just north of the Mundaring Shire east of Perth. The town is well known as the site of two of Western Australia’s major prisons. Wooroloo Prison is a minimum security prison and Acacia prison is medium security. With a population of around 900 or so residents Wooroloo is serviced by a bus service three times a day being the 328 Transperth service from Midland. The town has a primary school which caters for students from K-7 from there student usually attend the Eastern Hill Senior High School at nearby St Helens. There are medical centres and hospital dotted around the area and all within easy reach. Wooroloo has a general store, liquor store and a community hall as well as being home to the famous El Cababallo resort. There are sporting facilities including a golf course, playing fields and a swimming pool at the Wooroloo Prison which is open to the public. Horse dressage events are very popular here. Housing prices are very reasonable and are excellent for those just starting out.
