"Exceptional"

Dear Darren, As you are aware, I was charged with the responsibility to sell a house in Greensborough as part of my duties being executor of a deceased estate. I followed a comprehensive process .(1) had the home assessed by a local sworn valuer selected by a legal firm. (2) interviewed five agents for the suitability to undertake the task. (3) did not reveal the sworn valuation to any of the participating agents. Following this, selected your organisation to undertake the auction process being satisfied your team were the most experienced and from other external checks was assured you "had a very good track record". We elected to add an additional week to what we thought was essential advertising (suggested by you). My wife and I attended several open days unannounced and were delighted with the approach and fair technique as your staff handled some difficult questions regarding the home in question. We were concerned when the property "two doors down" was unexpectedly advertised for auction two weeks before our planed timing and cited a reserve of $47,500 below the sworn valuations I had obtained. This became an even bigger concern as, a) the other house had an additional bedroom, b) the position of the other home was equal to or better. The outcome was especially pleasing to the beneficiaries as 1) your organisation exceeded the sworn valuation by $74,500 or 20.4%. 2) the price realised was $452,000 and was $22,000 or 5.1% above the neighbours result. 3) even after the home was sold you organised the replacement of fire alarm batteries. Darren, you and your team have done an exceptional job. Please accept my sincerest thanks.
