"Amazing suburb"

Great suburb, only overlooked because of the nearby Attadale and Applecross suburbs. Excellent primary school (Booragoon) and also in the Applecross HS catchment.

"Excellent Value for Money"

Alfred Cove is an up and coming suburb with values in neighbouring suburbs like Applecross and Ardross becoming unaffordable for many young couples.
Alfred Cove is a quiet suburb with a high owner occupation ratio plus many new homes being built in the area.

"Redeveloped and keeps getting better"

On applecross and ardross’s doorstep. Very up and coming suburb close to garden city and the river. The downside is it’s not far from Melville which is very mixed. Overall a great suburb.

"Beautiful suburb close to the river"

Moved to the area a couple of years ago. The neighbours were very friendly and welcoming. Booragoon Primary is fantastic school with wonderful teachers. It has great public transport links. Almost everyone looks after their properties. Only a few minutes walk to the river yet cheaper than surrounding riverside suburbs.

"Convenient"

Great place to live, community feel, no issues and close drive to everything. Needs more walking paths, only main streets seem to have them which is a shame when walking with the kids and dogs

"Amazingly convenient, great area but will always be in the shadows of its richer cousins in Applecross & Attadale nearby"

Great spot which is close to both the River, Freo, Perth, Garden City and myaree so all your shopping and restaurants needs are catered for. Not cheap to buy into and lots of lovely homes however stll behind its neighbouring suburbs with a higher proportion of the older rentals....they are being demolished or renovated and it is continually improving! Lots of families and older couples. In both Appx and Melville high school zones. Santa Maria close by in Attadale. Safe place to live, nice people and low state housing. The train line is non existent for this corridor of Perth so it's buses. I drive to work and it takes 15min to city if not super peak hour. There is everything you need in Alfred Cove.

"eh"

Its not the best place to live, I got robbed 3 times while I was living there for 6 years. The only thing that didn't made me move earlier was how nice neighbours are.

"Almost on the river!"

Alfred Cove is one of those suburbs that I feel just missed out on greatness! It sits bordering Canning Hwy - so there is not the feeling of being riverside like some of the other surrounding areas. It doesn't take much to cross the very busy main road and get over to the green space, but it ins't quite the feeling of living in that space. The streets are all well maintained with people having renovated to high quality. Shopping and schools are all good as is access to areas like Fremantle and eating out. Can't complain - it is a pretty good spot.
