HOONS love this street. One home houses a family of young car-nuts, and honestly they are not the worst I've encountred but I am sick of having upwards of 6 cars around their home - revving engines, and testing their latest modifications.

The other things to be mindful of is that we are directly UNDER a flight path and it can get really noisy - on some days I can count 15 planes in the space of an hour or so. And some are pretty low flyers, and they fly directly OVER my home and as early as 2am.

There are a lot of trucks that visit the shopping centre behind the street so there is always a lot of truck rumbling.

The WORST and most annoying are the young hoons on motor bikes - mostly unregistered - who ride up and down the reserve where the powerlines are.
They ride any time day or evening and rev and rev and don't care about pedestrians OR how noisy they are.
They can often be seen helmetless weaving up and down the road and I have almost run one over.

Another FRIGHTENING feature is the stray dog issue - one American Staffordship dog KILLED a terrier in front of 4 people... mauling the poor dog after chasing it from its home.

Am I trying to put you off?
NO - I am hoping that if you move into any one of the available homes in this street that back on to the reserve, that you WILL have a voice, you will be a quiet neighbour and you will tell the police or council of wrong-doings and engage as a neighbour to look after the neighbourhood and actively participate in keeping this a family street - there are LOADS of little kids in the street and they deserve a safe place to play.
