Commuting via V/Line Ballarat to Melbourne
Thinking about moving to Ballarat with the family, but worried about the commute into Melbourne.
Is the v/line on time mostly, can you always get a seat, do they have wifi.
If you drive whats the usualy travel time peak and off peak
Any experiences shared will be appreciated

In the hope that this will help someone else:
1) the vline trains depart exactly on time in the mornings. Found that out the hard way when I was 20 seconds late and arrived to see my train departing in the distance.
2) plenty of seats now there are 5 carriages in the morning express to Melbourne
3) no wifi but I get Telstra 3G connection most of the way. It drops out just before Bacchus Marsh for a little while ( 2-3 minutes) and can be sporadic getting out of the city eg through Sunshine. Enough to get plenty of work done and send and receive emails during my trip.
