"Stress Free Living"

Bannockburn is a quiet and laid back place to live, with plenty of amenities and wide open space. There are both primary schools and a secondary college. A new Shopping Centre has been developed with further extension in the future, lovely places to eat and choose from as well. It has a great vibe and is only growing in popularity. There is plenty to do including sporting clubs, community groups and the like. There are craft markets and a farmer’s market as well. The best place to bring up the family whether on some land or a suburban house block, this place has it all!! ….including a very cool kid’s waterpark in the main street!!😊

"Farmers Markets and wineries!"

The Golden Plains Farmers market is a great thing to do in Bannockburn, there are also great wineries around the area, plus the bushland reserve!
Great houses in the area also.

"Good place to live but buyer beware golden plains council will make you pay rates as if you were living on the gold coast"

I have been living in bannock burn for the last 7 years and in that time it has grown not much in infer structure my rates have gone through the roof i feel like i am paying rent on my own property as well as my mortgage in 7 years rates have gone up by 110% forcing people to move out and stopping people to move in the golden plains council is the greediest in Victoria

Great for

  • Becoming increasivley expensive to live
  • More infer structure required

Not great for

  • Desperately Need a Secondary School

"Growing Town with Excellent Facilities"

One of the real up and coming towns in Victoria. Ideally situated, 20 minutes from Geelong, 35 minutes from Torquay, 45 minutes from Ballarat and 65 minutes from Melbourne.

The township has all the facilities you could ask for, including Bank, Chemist, Petrol, full-sized Safeway, Pub, Doctors, Dentists, Schools, Sports Centres, Ovals etc.

There is a lot of growth going on around the town, and the town will only grow better and prosper more over time.

Looking forward to moving to Bannockburn - semi rural with everything you could need close at hand or not too far away. Hope there is lots of bird life so I can hear birds singing in the morning.
