"Location, location, location!"

Spectacular location, right on the bay - easy access to walking and bike tracks along the beach and Princes Pier, with an abundance of cafes and restaurants plus the tram moments away.

"Glamourous, friendly and stunning living!!"

Beach Street is an amazing place. While it can be considered a bit of a thoroughfare, with it's many speed bumps, this does not detract from the beautiful palm tree lined perfectly manicured street. Especially down towards the Beacon Cove apartments, this street is second to none in terms of gardening in all of Melbourne.

Location is fantastic. The beach is literally 1 minute walk from all the apartment complexes, and it is somewhat hidden from the hustle and bustle of Bay Street in the center of Port Melbourne. There is a particularly beautiful set of apartments down the end of Beach Street. I think it's 155 Beach Street, and has a brown and white facade, and from the look of things, if you are living there, you are doing ok in the money stakes :) Other great points about the location is that is is very close to desired amenities, such as the IGA, and all the restaurants on Waterfront Place. Finally, at all times during the day you can see people running in their gym gear, mothers walking their babies in their prams, and people generally smiling. It's a very friendly place.

Parking can be a little difficult to find, but there are a number of side street where parking can be found. If I had to say something a little bad, it would be that there is a bit of wind, but if you are going to be in Port Melbourne, that is what you have to put up with anywhere, as you are right near the beach.

As mentioned in the review title, this is glamourous, friendly and stunning living!!

"A good sense of what Melbourne has to offer"

Beach Street in Port Melbourne seems to have it all. Great beach lifestyle, amazing views of the ocean, popular culture, eateries, bars, clubs etc etc. I suspect Beach Street may be a little noisy to live on, but to be honest, i think it would be worth it to live so close to the beach. I have a some great pics to upload, which i think will sell you on just how great it is :)

I highly recommend this street to anyone living in Melbourne.
