"Great street in close proximity to the train station and city centre"
I lived in an apartment block at the top of Beane Street for 2 years and never had a problem. The roundabout on Beane St is a bit of a problem as people coming down the Watt Street hill towards it very rarely slow down, I have nearly been hit numerous times by people who have not the intelligence or ability to be driving on the road. Other than that it is a great place and I would happily move back there.
