Reviews of Blairgowrie, VIC

"Contemporary yacht club, marina and exclusive beaches"

The beaches are divine and the amenities are great. Cafe culture has developed and the suburb has undergone a makeover with new homes. It only lacks quality schools like the ones in Mornington and Mt Eliza.

"Beautiful Coastal Village"

Blairgowrie is a gorgeous suburb with a lovely Village vibe.
The Blairgowrie foreshore beaches are superb and if the back beach is more your style then Koonya Back Beach or Bridgewater Bay are fabulous spots to visit.
The Blairgowrie Village has some great cafes, restaurants, a post office, supermarket, chemist and newsagency, everything you need for holidays or permanent living.

"A beautiful coastal village"

Blairgowrie is a gorgeous village situated between bay and ocean beaches on the Mornington peninsula.
The village is a perfect place for families, couples and retirees and offers something for everyone.
A quiet sleepy hollow most of the year and a thriving township over summer as a resident you get the best of both worlds living here.
Within close proximity to Melbourne it is an easy commute for work purposes or an easy weekender.
The beaches are amazing, offering beautiful bay beaches, the stunning Blairgowrie Yacht squadron and ocean beaches with fabulous rock pools.
Blairgowrie Village has some fabulous cafes and restaurants and great homeware stores, a brilliant butcher and gourmet supermarket with specialty treats, it has everything you need.
A review of Blairgowrie wouldn’t be complete without mention of the Koonya General Store, definitely worth a visit for a coffee and brunch on the go or lunch and take home dinner.
Blairgowrie is a superb Mornington Peninsula suburb with some beautiful beaches, a rare gem!

"Fabulous village atmosphere across the road from the bay and with beautiful cafes, restaurants, fashion and homeware shops"

Living and working in Blairgowrie is a dream. As a local real estate sales agent with Briggs Shaw, I meet so many people both visiting and wishing they could live here. It's a joy to sell a home to people new to the area as I know they will never want to leave.

Rentals in Blairgowrie

"First Class Location"

A peaceful and much sought after hamlet gracing the Port Philip Bay foreshore between Rye and Sorrento. The beaches are superb with boat launching facilities on the Tyrone foreshore for your convenience. You have the choice of stunning sedate bay beaches or exciting untamed ocean surf beaches, both are truly spectacular. The Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron offers first class facilities for members with a very active social scene as well as a good mix of casual and competitive sailing activities. There are exceptional mooring facilities adjacent to the club facilities. Everybody loves the Blairgowrie Village with its eclectic collection of shops, restaurants, bars and take away`s as well as a well stocked IGA Supermarket and adjacent bottle shop/cellar. Sorrento and the Queenscliff ferry are just down the road and the restaurants and cellar doors of the Peninsulas famous wineries are a pleasant short drive into the hills to sample some award winning local wines. Blairgowrie property prices vary considerably in relation to location and in many cases offer a more affordable alternative to the highly sought after areas of Sorrento and Portsea. Locals and visitors alike seek the "lay back" atmosphere that this idyllic seaside village has to offer. Best of all we are only an hour or so from the CBD.

"Quiet town sandwiched between Sorrento and Rye"

Was once a hidden gem but has recently been discovered and prices are started to get up around Sorrento levels.
