Looking for a home in Box Hill South?

"Plenty of green space"

Box Hill South is underrated by many people but it is home to the lovely Gardiners Creek Trail which has lots of greenery and dogs running around off-leash. The streets are leafy and Wattle Park is close by. Property prices are well under those in the Surrey Hills and Mont Albert area. The amenities in Box Hill South are excellent and there are lots of public transport options.

"SENSATIONAL BOX HILL SOUTH"

Box Hill South, a quieter suburb than Box Hill, is increasingly becoming popular as a family friendly suburb. It is laced with a variety of shops close by with the bustling Box Hill Central being the major shopping centre. Amongst the numerous variety of clothing stores and restaurants, the centre also offers a large indoor fresh food market. Because the Box Hill region has a large Asian population, you have a diverse selection of restaurants. Other popular schools are McCubbin Primary School and Box Hill South Pre-School. Some of the popular recreational activities includes are the Box Hill Golf Club, Gardiner's Creek Trail, Box Hill Park where children can emjoy the duck pond & ride their bikes. Box Hill South is also a very popular option for young professionals and students having the options of Deakin University and Box Hill Tafe being easily accessible. With regards to transport it is well serviced with bus and tram terminals. It is also within close proximity to both Box Hill Station and Blackburn Station. Other close health and fitness amenities are Aqualink Box Hill which provides complete gymnasium facilities with options of both heated indoor and outdoor pools areas & Box Hill & Epworth Hospitals. "A busy suburb in the Eastern suburbs"

Box Hill South is very accessible by public transport, including multiple bus lines, and two train stations and several tram lines are close by. Being very close to Box Hill, we have a very exciting food culture. In addition to this, multiple kindergartens, ELC's and primary and secondary schools are within very close proximity. A very welcoming community environment with sporting clubs, family and community centres, and family-owned businesses, Box Hill South is the perfect location for a family.

"Central hotspot with quiet tree lined streets"

Box Hill South is a lovely leafy spot close enough to the city but still with neighbourly spirt.

While there is no train line to Box Hill South, just up the road to either Box Hill or Blackburn their are train stations, plus there is lots of tram and bus options.

Also boasting great parkland and walking tracks leading into the city. Close to Burwood One shopping complex, Forest Hill, The Glen and not far Chadstone if needed.

Lots of apartments popping up and with a great rental return it is becoming popular with investors and with Deakin Uni/BoX Hill Tafe so close is popular with students.

"A great suburb"

Box Hill South is a lovely place to live and a beautiful suburb. In the middle of other suburbs such as Surrey Hills, Box Hill and Burwood, everything is at your fingertips. All the of benefits of Box Hill are just a stones through away while the house prices are generally less than Box Hill itself. Box Hill South itself doesn't have any big developments or shopping malls so there is no issue with street parking and traffic however, all of those things are just couple of minutes away. Box Hill Hospital, Box Hill Centro, Burwood Kmart, Forest Hill Chase etc.. Residents of Box Hill South get the benefits of all of these things without living so close that they become an issue.

Its a lovely suburb with lots of open space including Gardiners Creek which is beautiful, Wattle Park and a variety of sporting ovals. The only downside is that it is starting to become very expensive so younger families are becoming less common in the area. I reckon that takes away a bit of the suburbs feel.
