Is Encounter Lakes noisy with tourists?
I am interested in one day buying a property to retire on the water at Encounter Lakes, Im wondering if anyone has experienced being there long term and if it is noisy at all with holiday makers partying?

Hi Rebecca,
I don't live at Encounter Lakes, but I know people who do. Most of the people who live at Encounter Lakes are mature, and most homes are occupied year round. There are a few holiday homes, but I have never heard of residents being annoyed by 'parties' through tourist season. It's a great location - if you're thinking about Encounter Lakes as a retirement option then I think it's perfect. I often see many of the locals out riding together, chatting in their gardens etc - it seems like a really nice community area.
