"Close to Beach, Schools, Cafes & Activities"

Burleigh Waters offers a relaxed lifestyle, with plenty of sports clubs, schools, off-leash dog areas and a trendy up and coming cafe scene - always something to do here!
Unline Burleigh Heads - Burleigh Waters is also home to a large commercial/industrial precinct - making it even more sought after and growing in popularity. Its a few minutes from the M1, making it an easy commute to the Gold Coast Airport.
There are many waterways that provide direct access to the Broadwater and the ocean, as well as Lake Heron, Miami Lake, Swan Lake, Pelican Lake & Burleigh Lake. There are 2 large shopping Centers - Stocklands & Treetops Plaza.
This is a hot renovation suburb!

"Burleigh Waters - On The Move"

Burleigh Waters is one of those suburbs that truly does have it all. It is minutes to the world famous Burleigh Beach, James Streets many restaurant and cafes, Robina Town Centre (the best shopping centre in Queensland), the M1, schools, train station, lakes, parks, and a short drive to the Gold Coast Airport. Everything is at your fingertips.

It is a very relaxed place to live with it's own 'village' feel that it's residents embrace. Many of the local residents have moved from varying places, but one thing in common is that almost all of them will not move from the Burleigh area again, people really do love it that much.

The property market here has gathered a lot of momentum over the last 12 months with activity levels not seen in recent years. If you are considering moving to Burleigh Waters, make the choice and I dare say you won't regret it.

If I can help you with your move to Burleigh, then please feel free to come and see me at Ray White Burleigh Waters, I would love to share more about what is on offer is this great community.

"Great place to buy and live!"

Having lived and sold real estate in Burleigh Waters for several years I can honestly say what a beautiful, well manicured place this is to live and work. Whether you spend you mornings reading the paper and sampling the outstanding local cafes along James Street or go for a walk along the golden sands of Burleigh beach your surroundings make for a great start to the day.

Afternoons can be spent relaxing after work at many of the first class restaurant dining options in Burleigh or choose from two great Surf Clubs with outstanding views and atmosphere. Or take the kids to one of many of the parks on offer or play equipment along Burleigh beach or have a bike ride along the footpath that takes you to the spectacular Burleigh Headland.

With a choice of well respected private and public schools in Burleigh Waters/Burleigh Heads it makes an easy transition for any family looking to settle in the area and call this fabulous place home. There are also many sporting facilities on hand such as Burleigh Bears League Club, two tennis clubs, Burleigh pools and several gyms and clubs to join.

With a wide variety of properties on offer ranging from units, townhouses to duplexes, houses or waterfront properties you can invest or settle in Burleigh Waters/Burleigh Heads and be assured that you will be buying in a real estate market that will secure your financial future.

"The suburb that is the envy of other Gold Coasters"

We moved up to the Gold Coast 18 years ago. We stayed at Burleigh Heads until we checked out other suburbs and options. Homes in Burleigh Heads can be a little too noisy for families but Burleigh Waters has lovely little pockets of residential streets that have a sense of community and are very friendly. Other than one sojourn for a couple of years we have settled into Burleigh Waters, first renting then buying in the same suburb. Our street is tucked away and we didn't even know it existed until we went to see our house when it was up for sale. There are only 10 houses in our street. 2 people have lived there for over 20 years, one couple moved in last year because her parents lived there and now 2 families (parents and their adult children) have bought a house each in the street because they had waited years to buy in that street. I feel safe to be there alone when my husband travels with work, not very common for women to feel safe these days.

Burleigh Waters is close to beach, shopping, schools and parks with lots of walking tracks. Public transport is always a problem on the Gold Coast unless you live right on the tourist strip so having a car makes life easier. Friends and work colleagues living on the GC and interstate always sigh in admiration when they find out where we live. It's great for families, couples, retirees...well anyone except those wanting to live in high rise yuppy places (you can find them not too far away as well). Don't choose anywhere else until you try Burleigh Waters.

"Here your local real estate agent tell you why Burleigh Waters is a GREAT place to live!"

Live and relax with what Burleigh has to offer. Two beautiful beaches, Burleigh and North Burleigh both have lovely sandy beaches, a tree lined walk connects them both with lots of places to throw down your blanket and enjoy a picnic lunch, or pop into either Surf Clubs, I have enjoyed many a breakfast at North Burleigh Club. Both sit practically on the beach so that you can enjoy the surf while you eat and chat with family/friends. Or grab your BBQ tools and whip up your sausages and eggs while the children play in many of the Children’s play areas and there are lots of tables and seats to make life a little easier. Looking for a fish and chip shop well I have found the best one in where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine with your freshly cooked feast. There are lots of restaurants and little places to eat, Coffee shops, maybe pop on into to Connors. Great shopping at Stocklands only a few minutes drive or one of many boutique shops scattered around James Street. There are plenty of schools both public and private, child minding facilities, libraries and the list goes on. Last but not least pop on up to the heads and watch the surf board riders, a great place to enjoy your fish and chips, picnic or just sit and enjoy your book. I love the people climate and all that offers here in Burleigh and I would love to meet and have a chat with you over a nice cup of coffee and discuss why Burleigh Waters is a great place to buy or invest. "Central position, can walk to every thing you need"

Wonderful place to live, where owners take pride in their homes and gardens and are friendly and helpful, and if you want to stick to yourself that's fine too. Homes are palatual in Burleigh Cove and I have never heard a barking dog at night. Would have been nice to have Dunlin Drive as a closed off community but if you want access it is second to none.
Being on the canal opens up many activities such as boating, fishing, sailing, canoeing, model yachts. And a cool breeze coming off the canal most of the year. We haven't had to use the air conditioning at all during summer.
From Dunlin Drive you can walk to the beach and shops at Burleigh in 20 mins, to Stocklands Shopping Centre in 6 mins, Private school, Marymont in 10 mins, 2 State Primary Schools in 10 mins, Bond University in 15 mins. Transport : buses are at Burleigh or at Stocklands Shopping Centre. Catch a ride to the train by bus to Varsity or Robina Train Stations. Same if you want to go to the Pines Shopping Centre, Robina Shopping Centre, Pacific Fair, Coolangatta or to Surfers and Southport in 30mins. Drive to Pacific Fair in 15 mins.
Festivals include the Winter Solstice in Burleigh (June), Wintersun in Coolangatta (June), Blues on Broadbeach (May 27-30), Surfers Paradise Festival (May).
The beaches are some of the best in the world, Billabong Pro Surfing being held 20 mins walk at Burleigh Heads. Surf Life Saving competitions, Australia Day celebrations, Anzac Day at Currumbin, Christmas carols in the park at Justin Park Burleigh Heads, one of the biggest on the east coast. On a Sunday evening you can relax at the park whilst listening to the beat of Bongo's and watch fire twirlers.
Can't say enough, just love the place, it is truely one of the Gold Coasts hidden gems, wouldn't live any where else just has every thing.
