Reviews of Campbell St, Kensington

"Charming period homes"

Pretty much all the homes on this street are owner occupied and have been renovated in keeping with the original style, which makes this street very quaint.
One downsize is that most of the homes are on a pocket-hanky of a block and some neighboring houses have built right up to the boundary. Also being one street back from Canning why means you can hear the traffic.
The street is reminiscent of trying to park in Mt Lawley on weekends and outside of business hours - it gets down to just enough room for one car. This is mainly due to the lack of off street parking.
It is walking distance to the Como Hotel from here and only a short drive to Mends Street in South Perth or Preston or Angelo Street in Como, where you can find some good eating out options.
It's one of the nicer streets in Kensington, but you'll pay for the privilege.

Great for

  • Close to amenities and Fwy

Not great for

  • Lots of parked cars on the street all the time
  • Traffic noise from Canning Hwy
