Reviews of Carwoola Street, Bardon

"Something for everyone - peaceful, friendly street"

Great street with a good community of friendly neighbours. There's a good mix of people who live in Carwoola Street - from young families, to professionals and retirees, it has high appeal to all stages of life.

A peaceful setting, the street is surrounded by bushland with abundant birdlife, it's hard to believe that the city is only a few minutes away. There are bike paths and walking tracks and the rugby field for those who are into being active. Mount Coot-tha is just down the road with more bushwalks and cycling for the energetic.

There's a bus stop at the entrance to Carwoola Street and regular buses throughout the day that go through Paddington and into the city - approximately 20 minutes to Roma Street.Very convenient for commuting to work and the journey is a pleasant one.

There has been an annual Street Christmas party for a number of years and it's one of the few places where I've know a majority of the people in the street, even if just to say hello to. Which is something I love about living there. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly place to live.

Bardon state primary school topped the highest average score in the 2010 NAPLAN tests for the state so a good recommendation for someone looking for a good local primary school as it is only 10 minutes walk from Carwoola Street.

"Stonebrooke- A perfect new home!"

We have had for some years a wish list for our next home. Having lived in Bardon for 4 years, the top of our wish list was to remain somewhere in the surrounding area. It suits our lifestyle needs and seems to be central for just about everywhere. Bardon offers us a fabulous blend of proximity to a vibrant city 5 Klms away, mixed with a great outdoor lifestyle with the Brisbane Forest at our back door. On a normal day the airport is only 30 minutes away, and with the bus terminus virtually on the front door we are always guaranteed a seat! Access to the freeways West and South are also particularly convenient.
When we saw Stonebrooke, it ticked all our boxes! We wanted a home that we could share with visiting family and friends, spacious enough for everyone to enjoy. We had seen other projects done by TDF and spoke to the builders. That was enough to satisfy us that they were fastidious. A lot of thought has gone into aspect, amenities, layout and convenience. We think that the finishes and designer touches in Stonebrooke really make this development a cut above anything else we have seen.
It was easy to choose this location because it is unlikely we will see anything similar in this suburb in the future, there just isn’t the land available. We think that this development lives in harmony with the green surroundings, and we just love it.
