"Such a quiet street, but so close to everything!!"
I loved living in Chester Street - It is an easy walk to the bus stop, the local shops, and the main road (Glastone Road), but is so quiet! Hardly any traffic noise at all!! There is also a lovely view from the street over the University of Queensland.
The City is within walking distance, taking around 30-40 mins walk to the Queen Street Mall. Alternatively, the 196 and 197 buses run frequently from a stop just around the corner. My time in Highgate Hill was extremely enjoyable, and I regret having to leave. It is just so lovely to be so close to the culture, restaurants and night life of West End, Southbank and the City, whilst having such a friendly, homely and peaceful place to live.
