This is a decent suburb, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Greenacre and the notorious south west but mind you, this suburb isn't highly desirable, with amenities nearby, but inadequate educational facilities in the suburb itself. I suppose that you could access top notch private schools in nearby Strathfield and Burwood, but that would induce a great imbalance in house prices between the northern and southern parts of this suburb. Hence, I would recommend the council implementing a few quality local schools here perhaps pinpoint in the middle. Transport is not the greatest thing this suburb is renowned; there are several busses running through, but it would be convenient for the council to dedicate a train station on the Inner West line as a termination point rather than an interchange stop or necessary passing stop for access to the West.
