Clarence Town, NSW 2321

We have lived in Clarence Town for a year and absolutely LOVE it!! Neighbours are welcoming and keep an eye on your property when you're not home. The town has a small IGA which is great even to do a weekly shop in. It is not overly expensive but there are some items that you wouldn't get there and would need to go into Raymond Terrace, Dungog or Maitland to get. All these towns are less than 30 minutes away and the drive is beautiful and relaxing, with no traffic. The butcher and bakery are fantastic. You have a hairdresser, beautician, vet, hardware store, Post Office, Newcastle Perm branch, Chemist all within the town area. Eating out? There is a cafe, bowling club and Hotel with excellent food! There is an fantastic school with 7 classes and also a Pre-School. There is no daycare centre, although a DA has been approved for one with Council. ADSL 2 works brilliantly. Couldn't ask for a better small rural village to live in :)
