"Friendly, family-oriented areas"
With welcoming, helpful neighbours, and friendly caring street the Condon area close to Willows is a wonderful space to bring up children. Good sized blocks, close to all amenities and easy driving to Lavarack Barracks, Uni, Hospital and more.

"Accessable Condon"
Condon is close to everything. It is minutes away from Townsville's largest shopping area (the Willows shopping mall, Gannon Park and Sunland Plaza). It is five minutes away from Dairy Famers Stadium, Brothers Football Club and the Golf Links. The Riverway Precint is also minutes away containing Tony Ireland Stadium (Cricket, AFL, Hockey etc), Art Gallery and watersports of all kinds. Ross River is very close for all water activities, however, you never hear the boats.
The Domain shopping area (includes Bunnings) is 15 minutes away, Townsville CBD is 18 minutes away as is the Airport and the Strand.
The Ring road is two minutes away making access to the hospital (6 minutes), JCU (6 minutes) and Laverack Barracks (10 minutes).
Schools are withing a couple of minutes and child care centres are as close as one minute. All medical facilities are within a few minutes.
We have had a very pleasent livestyle in Condon and our neighbours will agree. We are only leaving due to work and family related issues.
To those leaving negative comments, we have not experienced those concerns here and the ones noted may be found in any area whether it is Condon, any other Townsville suburb or any area in Australia. I can comment with authority on this as I have lived all over Australia in my 64 years and would rate Condon as one of the best areas that I have lived. These areas have included some very exclusive suburbs as well as many lesser thought of areas. It is also one of the most accessable suburb that I have lived in.

condon is close to willows which is now the largest shopping center in townsville it is close to the riverway precinct and only 5 minutes to the hospital uni and army base,

Condon is within walking distance to Riverway where kids can swim and parents can have a coffee if they don't want to swim while watching the children.
You can kayak on the river while looking at fresh water crocodiles in there natural habitat, or just getting away from it all in the upper reaches of the river, looking at all the different water plants, and animals along the way.
The river is a great place to fish, ski, jetski etc.
You have no problems getting out of your street or suburb in peak time, none of the problems of the new suburbs where there is only one or two streets for the whole suburb to get out of at the same time, lovely place to live
