Reviews of Coonarr, QLD
"Our Oasis"
Coonarr is a very special part of the world. Beautiful, clean and green yet close enough to town. It is overlooked because people don't know about it and its not trendy like Bargara. But our creek, bush, beach and wildlife is so much better. Yet it is only 25 minutes to the middle of town, driving through cane fields and market gardens most of the way.

"Bundabergs best kept secret"
Coonarr is a beautiful, picturesque, relaxed sea-side place located approx 20 minutes south east of Bundaberg. We relocated here from Brisbane and have been living in Coonarr for just over one year. We fell in love with the place because of the lifestyle and its surroundings. The neighbours are great and the wildlife is also fantastic with lots to see. If you love your fising and crabbing then Coonarr can certainly accommodate you or if you just enjoy taking a stroll down the beautiful beaches, canooing down the creek or visiting the national park......it's all at your doorstep. It's also a great place to bring up a family.

"Sea change, best beach in Bundaberg"
I have lived in Coonarr for the past 15 years, I moved up here with my wife & 2 children from Sydney.
In that time both my kids crew up in a great environment & community. They both have good jobs now as Engineers, which I think growing up in Coonarr/ Bundaberg helped them with there careers.
