"Residing in Cranbourne East"

First lived in Adelaide and found the large "country-town" nature of the city very charming.
Then, moved to Albury in NSW which we found even more quaint.
After my retirement, we settled in Cranbourne East in Hunters Green Village which is the best location of all. Lovely community, safe and secure, close to Coles, Woolworths and Aldi and numerous retail shops.
Restaurants and eating places are a bit limited.
The suburb abounds with excellent schools, playing fields, gymnasia, numerous medical centres and chemists, and a well appointed Cranbourne library.
Come visit Hunters Green Village. You will love it just as we do.

"Good place to live, got everything you need"

Primary school is going to open soon, few secondary school around, less than ten minutes to shopping centre and train station. A good place to start or raise a family. House price going up quiet quick.

"A good place to live and raise a family."

We have been living in Cranbourne East for few years now. I can surely say that this Suburb has grown a lot.
Developments all across around this area had added to the suburb development.

One things which can be improved a lot is the Cranbourne Train line and its service and roads are getting busier, hence road extensions are a mandatory for serving growing population in this area.

"Poor poor and poor"

This place is disappointing. Extremely! I was working in Queensland for 3 years but after a cyclone hit my husband and I decided to move in Melbourne. So little I knew that I would struggle finding a local job or if not in the same area I would struggle with the public transport as most of the time they seem not to operate. No community feeling at all, no jobs, no transport, not anything. If I start talking about the shops here they are about 5 of them and one shopping mall. I'm in hospitality industry or I was as I can't find the slightest job to do here and this place was my worse decision ever. People are not communicative as cranbourne attracts only one culture in particular. Boring place with no progress and I've been told it was worse 10 years ago! I wouldn't imagine how much more

Hi Penny , you are upset because you haven't found a job, maybe you should have checked before moving. I hope you find one soon. We don't have cyclones or the horrid, humid weather I experienced in Queensland. We do have good public transport, bus services and trains to the city from Cranbourne station a few minutes from here. We have a new local shopping centre , with Aldi,Woolworths, lotto, cafes, medical centre and pharmacy, the main Cranbourne Park shopping centre has dozens of big stores, Target, K Mart, Coles etc it is only a short distance (around 1km). Boring? well we are only an outer suburb of Melbourne and have lovely parks, Royal Botanic gardens, a great racecourse, schools , Chisholm TAFE and Casey library, swimming centre etc. Most people here are happy, boredom is a state of mind after all.

hey pennyt2. hope you have found work. cranbourne east is surrounded by a number of shopping centres so dont know why you are complaining. people commenting on this page shouldnt have to tell you theres shops like aldi and woolies etc in the area.. maybe you dont get around enough to see what is around you. you should have done your homework before youve moved there. can you imagine going somewhere youve never been before not knowing what to expect. you have to be around people who are positive or all you will face is negative vibes and disappointment. my niece moved there 2 years ago and found work on a casual basis and has been offered fulltime work. she takes train and bus there and back each day. now with her fulltime hours she could afford a car but to get to the shops and around on weekends. when she goes to work she catches train and bus. so be positive and dont give up easily. all the best and good luck with your search for work. heres hoping youve found one and already working.

"Friends Lives There - Seems Great!"

One of my best friends lives out in the Hunt Club estate, and they are always raving about it. I've told her to put a review on here but she never gets around to it, so I thought I'd brag on it for her! As far as a visitor's perspective goes, I've found it's always clean, quiet and has a great community feel to it every time I've been there.

"Hunt Club is a Beautiful Estate"

We've been living in the Hunt Club estate since pretty much day one, and we've never regretted the decision to move there once. Both my children are in high school at Casey Grammar and they really love it... especially the fact that it's in walking distance! There's plenty of great facilities around that all the members of our family enjoy, and even a dog park for our furry family member Chase.
Can definitely see my wife and I staying here far after my kids grow up and move away, although I have a sneaking suspicion they'll want to move back here when they have kids, too.

"A Remarkable Suburb"

I can see my kids growing up in this suburb as it provides a very conducive environment for families who want to live a simple and quiet life with access to quality education, recreational facilities and nature almost to our doorstep. Love being close to Casey Fields, the golf courses, botanical garden, train station, and more shopping centres to be established in the area.

"Sublime Hunt Club"

Hunt Club is a sublime estate in the already growing and sprawling suburb of Cranbourne East. With a very good Grammar school, newly soon opening Primary and Secondary schools in its vicinity, you can't ask for anything better. Also is the Casey Aquatic Centre and Entertainment Centre just round the corner. Cranbourne is only the second town in Victoria to be able to conduct night horse races, as the Cranbourne racecourse is now floodlit - this is slated to bring big money and create lots of jobs in the local community. This town also boasts of Southern Hemisphere's largest Skate center built at a cost of $15.6 million. With the proposed shopping center right in front of the estate and also the proposed Cranbourne East rail terminal, it is going to be the best estate you could ever think of. It also has a very decent retirement village and one under construction, which makes it a very peaceful place to live in. With all these facilities and conveniences, Cranbourne is in for a major facelift - this will be the major hub for future development.

"New and great Cascades on Clyde"

Newly developing affordable suburb.
Great place to live, clean air, nice green and leafy.
24 hour medical center service which is a great plus. Casey super clinic. (Especially when there is only two 24 hour medical centers for the whole of Melbourne.)
Not much traffic. Easy acess to city by freeways. Not too close to the city and not too far away from the city. Can commute to the city everyday if you were working in the city. Berwick station or Cranbourne station being the closest stations and proposal for a new station to come up in cranbourne east.
Nice safe neighbourhood.
Lots of parklands and waterfronts.
