Reviews of Darling Street East, Sadliers Crossing
"Quiet pocket, close to good schools, cinema, rail and shops."
Out of school hours my brother and I would play soccer on the Blair State School oval (a great well maintained open space). We also jogged around the streets for our cross country training:0)
My brothers walked across the road to Ipswich Boys Grammar School. It has a good vibe.
I could meet up with friends at the cinema (6 minute power walk if I timed it right).
Restaurants and take-away was a short walk away. Also, if we needed a newspaper or milk, the corner store is very reliable, with extended hours. Otherwise, the mall is only a short walk away.
Having a choice of walking to Ipswich Central Station or Thomas St Station. I did the former, so I could walk past the shops and do some window shopping on the way.
