"Clean air and lifestyle"

Darnum is unique as it provides a small town experience few in the suburbs or city can relate to. It is close enough to warragul for main shopping and if you need a public hospital it is five minutes up the freeway, great for peace of mind. The darnum hall is constantly being used for public or private engagements, being reasonably priced and opposite the general store. The darnum pub is popular amongst locals and the area is constantly utilized for recreational purposes, especially for cyclists. It is a great place to bring up young children having a very modern primary school set against a beautiful countryside and the town is close to the freeway for easy access. Mt worth is a popular destination for travelors and the music village is the only one of its kind in australia. You will love darnum if you give it a try.

"Pure pristine country life"

Darnum is a great little town that has a fantastic community spirit and lifestyle. We have our own pub, primary school & general store (that stocks just about everything- but at cheap prices) like groceries, meat, fruit and vegies, videos and a complete post office as well and has its own tea rooms. The primary school has a total of about 80-90 kids and has a great approach to teaching. They have their own Japanese teacher (students also have the opportunity to travel to Japan) and has just undergone a complete rejuvenation. Darnum is located approx 90kms from the City along the M1 (Monash/Princes Hwy). The town is anchored by a multi million dollar Milk Powder processing plant owned by Fonterra. Mains gas line runs through town.
