Deerhurst Road, Brookfield, QLD 4069

Every year the street has a Christmas party at the end of the cul-de-sac. I go as a visitor and love the neighbourly feeling. People all watch out for each other and each others properties.. There isn't any through traffic as it is a dead end street so kids still play on the street and wave to passers by. Actually there is virtually no traffic at all!! It is green and clean where everyone looks after their acreage. It is soooo close to Kenmore that pizza is still delivered here - unlike Upper Brookfield or places further out. These are probably the closest acreage properties from the city in this direction. I would love to live in Deerhurst Road as I already feel very welcome there and I love the ruralness despite being easy commuting distance into the city.
