Reviews of Denman Street, Mitcham
"Tree lined quiet street with established homes, close to all amenities"
Denman Street boasts a canopy of trees on its nature strips. The street features established homes that are primarily of brick construction, with a few multiple dwellings. Neighbours in recent years have held street Christmas parties, with newcomers mixing with folks who have lived in the street for longer than they care to admit freely.
The Heatherdale Rail Station is about 6 to 7 minutes walk. Bus services are also at this station. The newly completed Eastlink is about 2 kms away.
Shopping at Eastland, Target Square or at Mitcham is easily accessed.
The Heatherdale Kindergarten is in the next street, and the primary schools at Antonio Park and Rangeview are not far away. Secondary colleges are serviced by school buses.
Parks are also a feature of the neighbourhood. These provide sporting facilities as well as lots of walking options.
