East Bowral, NSW 2576

I read the many comments made by people that come to Bowral for a weekend. A visit for two days is not "living" in Bowral. You really have no idea. There are no jobs, the shops have nothing but tourist crap to sell, everything else, (eg petrol) is massively overpriced and even compared to towns out far west are cheaper to buy fuel and groceries. The ageing population is consuming all the hospital beds and Dr's room appointments and they literally drive you bonkers doing 45kmph in the 90 to 100kmph zones. There are no jobs for your kids when they leave school, no uni etc - so they move away to the city. Most of my friends, like me had hard working husbands spending several days a week in Sydney working in corporate jobs and/or doing 5 hrs per day on the bumper to bumper M5 hell drive each day. Their kids are in Sydney boarding schools and they come home on buses on the weekends. They support over dressed botoxed faced wives who spend all their $$ driving BMW's around Bowral going to gyms, morning teas and having affairs. If you come to Bowral, you will buy a house that is over priced, never have time to enjoy it as you will be in your car 50% of your life on the M5, then when you want to sell it and it will be on the market for over a year, you will leave alone as you will be divorced and broke as the bank sells your house for you. That is the revolving door truth of life in Bowral. Read the "Stepford Wives", that says it all.
