"Close Knit Community"

A wonderful community where neighbours do look out for one another. Many great parks for the little ones. Also a great walking track that takes you down to the river. Bonus with gorgeous views of mountains!

"A family friendly suburb without the feel of being too busy"

Surrounded by parklands and featuring a primary school with a fantastic reputation, Emu Heights is a wonderful suburb to live in. It has a spacious fell about it away from the hustle and bustle, yet so close to everything that you need

"A Quiet family friendly neighborhood."

Situated at the foot of the Blue Mountains, Emu Heights is a neighborhood which is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet easy to access when needed. The school is nestled in park like surroundings and offers a warm, family atmosphere with its 300 plus students. Most families are within walking distance to the school grounds as is the beautiful Clissold Park. Families can gather there for picnics, a family and friends game of footy, basketball or a chance to play on the equipment which is under shade.

Most houses in the "City Lights Estate" have superb views of the city, the Penrith Lakes Scheme and beyond. Day and Night. Celebratory firework displays can be seen from Emu Heights that colour the night sky often.

The trees and shrubs from the Native areas beyond bring an abundance of birdlife to the area. Rosellas, Lorikeets, Kookaburras, Cockatoos and the Bell-birds with their sweet shrill enhance the area making Emu Heights all the more unique to live in.

Shopping can be done at Emu Plains, Lennox centre; a quick 5 minute car trip.

Oh yes...don't forget Zokoko the beautiful cafe on Old Bathurst Road.

"Perfect safe place to bring up a family"

I have lived here for 21 years, very quiet safe place. Mostly everyone takes pride in their gardens, watches out for each other, to me Emu Heights is like one big happy family, great neighbourly community. Perfect for someone with kids or pets, great park and walking track. Easy access to public transport.

"Mountains feel and still commutable"

We rented temporarily in Emu Heights and loved the experience so much we bought there. Close to Penrith but still has a country feel, easy access to M4 makes it quick to get anywhere as you don't lose time getting to the motorway.

"A great place to raise a family"

Emu Heights situated in the foothills of the blue mountains, 50 minutes to the city. Super close to the M4 and interconnects of M7 & M2. Excellent public transport, close to rail infrastructure. Excellent schools both Public and Catholic and plenty of choice with before and after school care. Excellently suited to professional working couples with local service stations and restaurants and takeaway businesses situated within the suburb. The suburb is a peaceful place with lots of walking tracks and local parks with kids playgyms and swings. A great place position wise with the bush backdrop and the leafy green texture of the mountains and clean fresh air.
