Encounter Bay, SA 5211

Lived here over 2 years, it is a beautiful suburb to live in. We don't have much in the way of shops but it is only a 6 minute drive to Victor Harbor. We have a great library, and such a lovely drive into Victor overlooking our picturesque bluff and the ocean. Housing is affordable and you get alot for your money.In October we get whales visiting. I have lived in many other places in this country but this is the best by far.

We come down every weekend and stay at our holiday house and we absolutely love our little getaways every weekend. We have absolutely breath taking views. Our neighbours are amazing and go out of their way to help. Shopping is a bit naff and yoi basically have Big W because Target Country is terrible. It does have the potential to be so much more than it is.

Only 80 minutes from Adelaide city; Encounter Bay is one of South Australia's best kept secrets. With beautiful beaches and ocean views that would rival any in the world; it is the perfect place to relax and unwind or explore and adventure. Within close proximity to antique shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants as well as hiking, biking, swimming, surfing, fishing and boating - there is something for everyone. Nearby shops, schools and hospital make Encounter Bay the perfect place to live or holiday.
