"Glad we did it"
We have been here a little over 12 months and are so glad we made the move to this old fishing village.
It is a little quiet probably because we are surrounded by water and national park but still within 5 minutes drive to the shopping centre if you want some noise and retail therapy.
Very happy thanks.

"Absolute Treasure"
This place is a Hidden Gem. Value for money, close to Jervis Bay and Hyams Beach with the Basin at your door step.
The people are great and it is hard to find an area like this one anywhere. Absolute Firecracker!

I don't understand why we have 2 experinces at totally different ends of the scale. Everyone that lives here loves it. A place like no other. Everyone I know will not move away for anything!
If you have moved away, good luck with your new area.
@Happythere - where is your review for Erowal Bay? Would love to see you full opinion on the suburb.
"gossip central"
I lived in Erowal Bay for 18 years until last year.
I should of moved many years before.
Yes the actual town is nice enough, but the people there cant keep their noses out of your buisness, the shop there is well overpriced on EVERYTHING, and the people that have moved there over the past years forget why they moved there in the first place by whinging and whining over every little thing.
If you think its a quiet town think again.
Many people think because its more or less a hideaway they can do as they please without consideration of anyone else
My advice is if you are deaf and can keep to yourself and like fishing..then erowal bay is great.

i dont mean to be rude but obviously you have never lived there, sydney siders think its great and it probably is escaping the rat race and arriving in Erowal bay but as a resident there in holiday season its pure living hell when the population multiplies 20 fold.
The council should buy the whole town and turn it into a holiday park because other than that its got nothing going for it.
