Reviews of Finch Ri, Ballajura

"Our street would be somuch for the better if it did not have a walkway coing off it"

Or street comes off Illawara crs.in Ballajura, opposite a sporting oval.
I own the second house to be built in this little cul-de-sac and as the new houses were finished to make a total of six we were all well known to each other, and had that borrow a cup of suger at any time, atmospher, with long talks on the front lawns on hot sumer nights.
As the originals slowly left I find myself now only invited to one house.
I have a somewhat unfinished atmosepher to my humble house, which is true, and annoys the hell out of my amediate neighbour. But so be it, they are the have's and I am the have-not.
Ballajura has been a fast growing suburb and now offers go facilities. One of the thing that others from other steets like is that our little cal-de-sac offers a walkway adjioning us to other streets, one of the little good ideas from the develipers . In the early days this did not pose as a problem, it helped with a little social chat, but now it is a conection of escape for those running from the police, or cars ideling motors all night as they do drop-offs at night that seem to take forever to say goodby.
The little darlings that once overcrowded the local schools have now become teenages without rules and spoilt the area.
Hey sure I was a teenager once, and yes I broke some rules, but the neighbours didn't live in fear of me, and I still new where the line was.

The walkway between Clipper Drive and Finch Rise in Ballajura has been a hot-issue for years: it was briefly closed for eight months, then reopened after residents on Clipper Drive protested due to the added walking it gave their children to went to school at Ballajura Primary School.

There have also been random arson attacks in the alley from one group of children who attend Ballajura Community College and keep fleeing into Clipper Drive to avoid residents who live in Finch Rise that try to catch them: one of of the "little darlings" almost lit up the entire fence of 1 Finch Rise on their way home from school one afternoon and lit up the fence of 8 Finch Rise to stop me from catching them...

If the state government doesn't increase the police presence for Ballajura again to speed up their response times, then the sooner that walkway is closed, the better.
