Pretty street well treed near schools and composed of mostly houses not flats or units. A large off leash park is nearby which is great for dogs. Chadstone shopping centre is close and Oakleigh shopping centre ( Coles and Safeway ) is also close so very good for shopping. The park has a small playground and there is an "adventure" playground in the next suburb.

East bentleigh open air swimming pool is about 1.5 kms away which is great for kids in summer. Very large girls secondary catholic school is about 1 km away. The local primary school is nearby and is excellent..has a great atmosphere.

There is no lightlife in the area so not so good for singles but great for others as no loud drunks wandering the streets and nights are very quiet and feel safe. There is a movie centre at Chadstone and also a Borders bookstore so later evening entertainment is readily available. Plenty of take away shops are in the area and there are a few nice restaurants located in the strip shopping centre and in Oakleigh.

Monash uni is straight up North Road by bus so good for students.

Generally is a well serviced friendly locale.
