"Inner City Village Vibe"
The perfect balance between village vibe and city harbour amenity. An up and coming suburb with character, charm and a vision. It has good bones and it will be interesting to see this charm grow in the years to come

"So close to the city!"
What I love about the Flodge is how close you are to the city - you can walk into work in about 30minutes.
It's right next door to Glebe so you are close to all that action if you need it, but you dont get all that rif raf in Glebe which is nice!
Bus is really your only public transport option - but there are alot of buses, and you are close to Parramatta road which has heaps of buses.
Love running down from Forest Lodge to black wattle bay, a nice 5 to 6km return run (or walk!).

"Awesome neighbourhood for families. It has a cool vibe and is fun yet peaceful. We love it."
Forest Lodge is a great area. Really close to the city, clear of the flight path, and has great public transport. The parks are beautiful and we walk to Jubilee Park everyday where the dog has a quick dip in the bay. Forest Lodge is populated mostly by professionals with children, and the occasional share house. My partner walks to the city for work every week day, and there is fantastic shopping and cinema at the Broadway Shopping Centre with free parking for 3 hours. Forest Lodge Public School is a great primary school, and both my children have had a great time going there. International Grammar School is next to Broadway Shopping Centre, and is a great school, where I now send the kids. It has a really cool feel for a private school and is housed in a 5 storey converted warehouse. Forest Lodge has the essence of inner city cool, but also has a great community populated by heaps of really interesting people. I wouldn't move if you paid me.
