Gatton is a up coming area with the new prision going in just a few minutes out of town the land prices and values are booming not to mention the new businesses coming to town. gatton has many great kid orientated parks and also has a great local golf course. there are many places to taste some of the local produce and flavors. only 30 minutes to Ipswich and 1 hour to Brisbane. It makes everything a stones throw away. spend your weekend exploring and enjoying the local scenes or use them exploring our great coasts and inland Queensland. there is also the new Lockyer Valley Tourist center there on the side of lake apex which combines a art gallery, transport muesum, library and cafe all together and hiding just out the back is a great kids play equipment to keep kids of all ages busy.

The Unversity of Queensland is in Gatton and many a farmer has left the university to go out and improve the family property. It really is in the centre of some of the richest farming land in Australia.

It is a lovely sight to drive through this area and see the properties that are obviously being run to perfection. Crop rotation is strong and the crops are some of the best around and sought after by the top chefs in the area.
