Looking for a home in Gooseberry Hill?

"Too far away."

Gooseberry Hill is too far away from civilization.

Great setting but not my priority. Lived here with my aunt for two years.

Schools were good.

"Best in Perth's Hills!"

Gooseberry Hill is the best place to live in Perth's Hills and is my 2nd Preference of living in Perth. With it's close proximity from Schools, Shops, Parks and Reserves, this is the Ideal Location.

"A great place to grow up, a wonderful place to live."

Amongst the trees and away from the rat race is this wonderful location. I grew up and spent my first 19 years of my life there. I always felt safe and at ease. A great community spirit where anywhere you go people know your name. A fantastic place for families with great schools close by and many great activities to do. I would thoroughly recommend this wonderful place and in particular this area of Gooseberry Hill. With it's sweeping views and so much room to move and relax it is the perfect place to live.

"Gooseberry Hill Overview"

Half an hour east of Perth, nestled at the western base of the Darling Range, Gooseberry Hill is an excellent base for exploring the area's wonderful countryside.

Tourism features include: a historic village, the Zig Zag Scenic Drive, Shire Cottage, Stirk Park, arts and craft galleries, wineries, open garden displays, Lesmurdie Falls, wildflowers in surrounding forests, national parks, heritage walk trails, The Bibbulmun Track, Perth Hills Wine Show, Zig Zag Festival (October), Kalamunda Agricultural Show (April), Harvest Festival (May), and spectacular city views by day and night.

Visit the Rose Garden, containing 700 rose bushes, in the grounds of the Old Archbishops House from October through to May. The colourful display and wonderful fragrances make this a gorgeous spot for lunch or a quiet wander through the garden.

For accommodation in Gooseberry Hill try one of the spacious, self contained studio apartments set in beautiful gardens. Or choose from two elegant, traditional bed and breakfast properties.

"Gooseberry Hill! It's the berries!!!"

Secluded, spacious in amongst the trees. Wildlife abounds. I have possums, bandicoots and the occasional Kangaroo for my neighbors. Sweeping views of the city, river and the airport. Every year we watch the fire works from the comfort of our own home. A hop, skip and jump from Kalamunda town centre. Only half hour drive into the city so it's far enough for peace but close enough to all amenities. Superb area for families.
