What to do in Noosa

like a lot of the residents in Noosa we came for a visit when living in Sydney and decided to make it our home. No regrets, we love the friendly community and great weather.

1. Coffee Lovers
Grind Cafe is always good
Gracies Deli 2 doors away very friendly
Aqua Bar at the Islander resort for Italian Roast
always a very personal thing but these are a few standouts in the area as far as barista skills and good fresh beans
2. Restaurants, my favourites in no particular order are;
Aqua Bar Gympie Terrace
Gusto Gympie Terrace
Ricky's Cafe Quamby Place
Bistro C Hastings St
3. Fitness; have you tried stand up paddle boarding? Very easy to learn on the river see the surf shop at Islander Resort for a lesson or www.standuppaddlesurf.com.au

4. Ice cream; there are 2 I like Massimos opposite the French Quarter Hastings St and Amo Gelato on cnr of Gympie Tce and Thomas St.

I have spent many holidays in Noosa and have watched it grow into the great community that it is today. The Noosa river is just an excellent place and if you explore up and down the shores, I guarantee that you will enjoy it. Fish and Chips while watching the sunset and abundance of pelicans is a must do. Many boat hire companies are spread out along the river and if its adrenaline your searching for they have jet ski's too. Don't forget your fishing rod and hit up Woodlands Bay at night on a full moon, I've had some great catches of Golden Trevally and Bream in that location. Top Spot! Great People!
