Need info ASAP.
Hello everyone,
I currently live with my brother in shailer park. He is a paraplegic and i have been caring for him since i finished school.
We are thinking of moving out because our unit is too small and our neighbours are getting to us. We found a house in HAKARI STREET CRESTMEAD (the only wheelchair friendly home for rent in the south brisbane area). I have heard alot of bad news about crestmead and the surrounding areas... loud parties and cars hooning around, domestic disputes, alcohol and drug fuelled teenage gangs fighting and robberies. I guess you have all those things pretty much in any suburb but from the amount of bad news ive heard crestmead seems to have alot.....and i would like me and my brother to feel safe at night and have some peace of mind and to also have nice neighbours that we can get along with and who mind their own business. What i would like to know is if anyone is living or has lived in Hakari Street or in one of the connected streets like Kyogle Street or Bushlark Street to give me some feedback about that specific area because in any suburb you get the nice areas and then theres the bad....i would love it if Hakari Street was in one of the nice areas.

Unfortunately I know nothing about this area.
However I do know a lot about real estate, it would seem to me as though if you have heard a lot of bad news about the area then you have your answer.
The problem might be finding another wheel chair friendly home in a better part of town that you could afford, if this is a major issue why don’t you sign a short 6 month lease on his one and see how you like it?
