Hallam Avenue, Lane Cove West, NSW 2066

Lane Cove West is a lovely little pocket still offering value and proximity to the city. The demographics are swinging towards an influx of young married professionals and young professional families looking to be close to the city but who want to have a house at a reasonable $ on 600sqm. Drive around the streets and there are a lot of "knock down and rebuilds" which is an indicator of the area's growing affluence. Lane Cove West offers more value for dollar than Lane Cove (proper). There is a lot to be said for Hallam Avenue. Close to Lane Cove West Primary, local Figtree village shops and the huge Blackman Park and Lane Cove River. Lots of amenity for young kids. Hallam Avenue is not a through road to Epping Rd (whereas Cullen St and Barwon St can be) so does not get enormous amounts of through traffic. On weekdays you do get plenty of office workers street parking and walking through Banksia Cl to the Business Park - so make sure you've got off street parking! City and Nth Syd buses at end of street (Tantallon Oval) I have always found Hallam Avenue "10 mins from everything". Jump onto Epping Rd and head east into city, or west to Epping. Jump onto Centennial Avenue and turn right to be in Balmain in 10 mins or left to be in Chatswood in 10 mins.
