"Good suburb"

Good Suburb close to amenities, not a green suburb by any means and depending where you live jam packed with villas and near freeway, of which is noisy and full to the brim every morning.

"Hammond park"

I have lived here now for 2yrs and very sadly we are soon to move areas as we cant afford to stay in this area, but my neighbourhood is so lovely quiet surrounded by the old school kind of neighbours you socialise with and borrow sugar from, if i didnt have to i wouldnt leave id buy this house im in, dr gendy down at the medical centre is awsome, the staff at iga and the chemist are always lovely and oh so helpful success primary is a fantastic school and you can drive there in 10 mins or walk within 20mins one way, the only down falls in lack of parking at the supermarket in busy times no childcare centre locally and the price of rent here because of the improvement of the area is driving us away.. massive positive its so central to everywhere its within half an hour diamater from the city nor, fremantle, rockingham, armadale so i think hammond park is definately the place to be if you can afford it!

Great for

  • New train station Aubin Grove coming in 2016

Rentals in Hammond Park

"Welcome to the industrial buffer zone"

A large part of this area was left uninhabited as part of the buffer zone for the Industrial area. Now market pressures made council rethink and release land. Aptly called "Eden Green".

Really, if you want to be that close to the Alcoa ponds, why not buy in Medina for half the price? And keep in mind, the winds here blow Northeast.

Great for

  • Cheaper than yangebup
  • New train station Aubin Grove coming in 2016

Not great for

  • Alcoa Ponds
  • Power lines

"Great suburb!"

Hammond Park is a fantastic suburb for a family to live in.

Close to Freo and the City and surrounded by fantastic parks and nature reserves. There are also great schools and a real community atmosphere.

Could not be happier and highly recomended!

We have been in perth 11 years and just built in Hammond Park. It is a quite suburb with wonderful parks and a 9 minute bus ride to Cockburn Central shopping centre and train station. It is a suburb designed for the residents and not a suburb you travel through to get to other place so the traffic is local traffic only.
