Why are there so many properties on the market in Hervey Bay, QLD?

Thats a good question, as I wondered the same myself. It is mostly due to the younger generation moving to places like the mines ect. and the Bay is becoming bigger as the old farming lands become subdivided and built on. The other reason could be due to the draw of places like the Gold and Sunshine Coast with there advertising. I Think that Hervey Bay would do well with a advertising campain on the life style and features like house prices, the people, It has all the features of the lower coasts with out the high cost of living.
