Hoffman Terrace, Williamstown, VIC 3016

We lived on Hoffman Terrace for 3 years. After moving from the hustle and bustle of Richmond, Williamstown was a nice change.

The fresh sea air was lovely and the views were spectacular!

The upside of the street was definitely the area for children to play. Well off the main streets, the parks and sidewalks along the beach allowed for the perfect place for children to run and be children. We felt safe letting our child walk to a friend's house or play in the park nearby.

All of the townhouses in Hoffman Terrace were built around the same time, with the same materials. Unfortunately, they are not withstanding the sea air very well and having been in about 8 of the units, I feel its safe to say that they do not really offer good value for money if they have not been extensively renovated.

The walls on the adjoined units are quiet thin and therefore, you do end up hearing conversations, people walking up and down stairs, water running next door, etc. Because it is such a family friendly neighborhood, it does at times get quiet noisy outside with the kids running around.

All in all though, this is a great street for families, if you do not require your own personal yard space.
