Reviews of Holbrook, NSW
"A small town - half an hours drive from a major centre . Everyone can get involved - or live quietly."
Holbrook will be the last town to be bypassed by the Hume Highway -
By 2013 - the kids can play cricket in the street again - or safely ride their bikes/ skateboards and scooters fom one end of it to the other.
Outstanding lifestyle - with a wide choice of sporting - arts and crafts to interest - service clubs and groups.
Two Primary schools and a preschool - and a choice of high schools accessed by bus services - just a half an hour away.
The best thing about Holbrook is its property affordability - vacant land from 1/4 acre upwards- most land in town has a rear lane entrance.
The price of building lands range from $32 000 for 1012m2 to $125 000 for 17 hectares.
Why wouldnt you want to live here - Its an easy commute to Albury Wodonga on the freeway - and you are driving out of the sun both ways.
Its only 45 mins to Wagga Wagga, 2.5 hrs to Canberra, 3 hrs to Melbourne, and 5 hrs to sydney. All FREEWAY TRAVEL.
Love it here - Holbrook will love you too. A great place to raise your family.
