This is a very private, beautiful, bright, resort style unit on one of Edge Hill's most exclusive crescents.
It features lots of windows as well as French doors and louvres and a large elevated deck to relax on and soak up the tropical vegetation and abundant bird life.
It's even more enjoyable because you don't have to take care of the garden yourself.

The kitchen is also well designed and has a dishwasher, a 4 burner hotplate, and convection microwave. There are plenty of drawers and lots of cupboard space available.

The bathroom/toilet area has a comfortable spa that also doubles as a shower. It is accessible either directly from the master bedroom, or a separate door from the lounge.
Furniture wise, there's only a largish cupboard, as well as a large bookshelf, so you would have to provide most of the furniture yourself as well as your own washing machine and fridge.
It's a nice airy unit, but the 2 bedrooms and lounge each have their own air split system air conditioner for the tropical months.
The unit is about a 5 minute walk to the Edge Hill tennis courts, a 10 minute walk (Or if you're feeling lazy a 2 minute drive) to the Edge Hill shops or bus routes, coffee shops, or the beautiful Cairns Botanical Gardens. It's also a 10 minute drive to town, and even less to the airport.
The design is a very striking pole home with the owner living in the same structure but totally separate. Parking for one car is on the driveway and a 2nd car on the grass verge if necessary.
Sorry, but no babies, young children or pets, and you must be a dedicated non-smoker, including friends who visit. Smoking is also NOT allowed on the outside deck. I'm allergic to tobacco.
The unit is on a quiet street and will not suit people who insist on partying on a regular basis late at night. You must also be able to walk up and down stairs to reach the unit.
The rental cost is $410 a week. Besides that, the tenant is expected to pay electricity and water costs. Both have separate meters for the unit.
This is a very rare dwelling set in the nicest part of elevated Edge Hill.
