Coniston is a picturesque and productive station of 2,170 square kms to be Sold W.I.W.O. with 5,200+ Droughtmaster and Droughtmaster Cross Cattle.

Coniston Station is located 285km north west of Alice Springs and 109km west of the Stuart Highway.

Coniston presents with an abundance of feed having received good summer rains. The station is spectacular in its presentation of the central Australian landscape.

The property has natural ranges with the major Lander River dissecting the property with a myriad of tributary creeks. The open plains on either side of the range are productive breeding and fattening grasslands.

The 5200+ Droughtmaster and Droughtmaster cross cattle included in the sale have been bangtailed in the most recent muster in May. The cattle are in good condition having the benefit of both top feed and natural grasslands.

There are 13 equipped bores delivering to troughs predominately set in trap yards and working cattle yards throughout the holding. The 14 sets of cattle yards are set up to handle and work the 5,200 plus cattle. The excellent water system supplies significant liner tanks then feeding
to yard facilities.

The Lander River and tributaries provide significant waterholes in season. The station is very well serviced with an efficient and substantial supply of permanent water with good stock handling facilities.

The four bedroom brick homestead is air conditioned as are the quarters containing eight main individual bedrooms with extra facilities.

Outbuildings consist of extensive workshop and plant shed, hayshed, storage sheds and the eight loose box stable complex has round yards, feed room and day yard facilities. The extensive main homestead cattle yards are a real feature. Power is supplied via 80 x 80W solar panels to battery supply and diesel generator back up.

Coniston presents as a station with a very good water supply, facilities and an abundance of feed.
