Reviews of Inskip Street, Rocklea
"Tucked away little gem..."
Inskip Street is a narrow one way street in Rocklea that is on the other side of the Ipswich motorway. It runs parallel with Sherwood Road and is 2 minutes walk to the Brisbane Markets.
There is ample parking and nearly all houses have double blocks (1012 square metres) with 20 metres frontage. Houses are not "glued" to each other like other suburbs of Brisbane where people can hear their neighbours fart or arguing.
It is a green and leafy street, dormant and quiet. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walking distance that will take you to Indooroopilly or the City. Rocklea train station or Moorooka train station are walking distance.
There are 2 parks at the corner of Melbourne st. and Inskip st. and also 2 petrol stations within walking distance - one of which is open 24 hours for your convenience.
The noise and traffic from Sherwood road is shielded by the houses on Sherwood road. The neighbours are friendly helpful.
