Reviews of Karama, NT

"Going Places"

Karama seems to be going places. It is probably the most central suburb of all the Darwin suburbs, 15mins either way and you end up in Darwin City or Palmo, 10mins in another direction and you end up in Casuarina. Karama Shopping centre has all the facilities a family could need, doctor, pharmacy, ColesWorth, optician, kebab shop, Panda takeaway, a service station, newsagency, hair dresser, Library, bottle-o, local pollie, pizza shop. Day care, 4 schools within this suburb, 2 public and 2 private catholic schools. 1 private chitian school across the road. The demographics are slowly changing for the better. What more could you want?
