"Welcoming Country Town"
Im writing about the town of Henty as its a small town i thought writing about 1 street wouldn't be enough.
When we moved here i found the people extreemly friendly and welcoming.
I live in Keightley St which is quite central to the main street. The local swimming pool is located in our street and it is adjacent to a lovely tree lined park and bbq area with rotunda. Keightly St has low traffic numbers and is a very friendly family street close to everything.
Henty caters for all your needs such as doctor surgery, hospital, 2 fantastic primary schools, football and cricket clubs plus a fantastic community centre and bowling club. Every church you can think of and the other type of "church" - the country pub.
Henty is located halfway between 2 of NSW's largest inland cities (Wagga Wagga and Albury) and has a railway station with the XPT passing through twice a day.
