"Myall Ave, Kensington Gardens..............Heaven"

A goregous area on the gently sloping terrain heading toward Wattle Park / Belair. A contrast of large period homes and new builds. An abundance of tree lined streets and established gardens resisting the trend of bulldoze and build two. Above the main traffic corridor of Glynburn road adds immediate peace. With the benefit of driving into town to work with the sun on your back and home with it on your back indicates the planning structure from Adelaides inception when the wealthy lived in the East. Blessed with its own little shopping Hub on Kensignton Rd and nearby shops of Kensington Park and Norwood Parade daily needs are meet easily with a 5-10minute drive or 5 stops by bus. Generally a very quiet place to live without the traffic noise . Close to Pembroke school. Great for families or professionals looking for peace.

"Good blend of houses in a great location"

Very similar to Kensington, there is a good blend of houses to keep everyone happy. However, the units around the area are an unattractive cream brick.

I like Kensington Gardens but so do a lot of other people which means the price is quite high for what you get. It’s worth it in many respects. It is a well established area close to the city in a prime location. I have ofetn looked at houses and units in the area but it's a bit beyond me.

It is well serviced by public transport and close to area like Norwood making going out easy.

It is a great suburb for just about everyone. Tree lined streets make it feel nice and cool in the heat of summer but a lot of the trees are gums which makes me feel a little uneasy at times.
